Game Used Aaron Glenn 2006 Dallas Cowboys Helmet

Aaron Glenn. A two-time All American at Texas A&M and the first round draft pick of the New York Jets in 1994. A fourteen year veteran with three different teams, Glenn is now in the twilight of his career which included three Pro Bowls. A full time starter from his very first game in '94, Glenn enters 2007 with 40 career interceptions and 163 passes defensed. Their may be some flashier corners in NFL history, but no one has been more steady and consistant than Glenn. This is Glenn's 2006 helmet that he wore with the Cowboys. All components of this helmet are original, worn by Glenn, and consistent with Cowboys game helmets.

Riddell VSR4 model helmet, painted pro gloss Dallas Blue, in a size Large. Comes complete with a Schutt T-EGOP Titanium mask as preferred by Glenn due to its lightweight design. The mask is attached to the helmet with Schutt Clips on the top and "Stabilizer" clips on the sides. Phillips Schutt screws are used to secure the mask. The chinstrap is a Sportstar Gel filled hard cup with the straps trimmed to the low mount hook-up.

The Star decals of the helmet remain intact with no lifting or seperation from the helmet. They remain in excellent condition with water spots from cleaning. The center stripes are three seperate stripes as preferred by the Cowboys equipment staff, with the white center stripe having a second one applied to the top and trimmed to the name identifier. Decals on the rear of the helmet include: Cowboys rear bumper, authentic team warning label, American Flag, NFL Shield, as well as GLENN dymo tape identifier as used by the Cowboys since the 60's. A Riddell navy blue decal is placed on the front nose bumper of the helmet.

The helmet shows excellent wear on both the inside and outside of the helmet. Light wear is found with small scuff marks peppered throughout. This helmet displays very well. Originally sourced directly from the Dallas Cowboys through Game Exclusives. The helmet has a Prova ID tag inside the helmet beneath the padding. The Prova ID tag is placed on the helmet by the Dallas Cowboys when issued to the player. This ID tag verifies that the item is 100% authentic. Prova ID tags are used by the Dallas Cowboys as a way to "electronically fingerprint the item." You can go to their website, type in the tag ID number, and it will give you the history of that helmet including every game that it was used in. If you are unfamiliar with Prova ID tags, you may research them at www.provagroup.com. They are the leaders in the Collectible Identification business.
