Game Used New York Giants Gladiator Hydra Flo helmet from 1974.  Helmet is all original with the exception of the reproduction clips securing the facemask.  Helmet is complete with the Hydra Flow padding liner, Schutt NOP facemask, and original Gladiator leather jawpads.  The hardware is also original.  The NY logos and center stripe are original to the helmet while the player numbers on the front and rear are replacements.  It is interesting that the NY logos are screen printed on thick vinyl rather than die cut letters.  The Giants used both during this time period depending on the manufacturer of the helmet.  Helmet was sourced from a long time employee of Marietta where the helmet was sent in from the Giants.  The employee would often take home helmets to his sons that were to be scrapped and thrown out.  Excellent, rare model helmet at a great price.
