This helmet was part of a group of NOS helmets that were purchased from an auction of a museum that had closed down.  The helmets are in brand new condition, sourced to the museum straight from the factory.  We have been doing this a long time and have never seen NOS helmets like these.  This helmet has the original Riddell BD9 two bar plastic facemask mounted to it and comes complete with the original chinstrap and original leather jawpads.  This helmet is the same as what would have been shipped out to the Chargers at San Diego Stadium.
