This is a very rare Falcons helmet from 1970.  The helmet is a Riddell RK suspension helmet.  The helmet has several #55 player identifiers written on the interior of the helmet and on team applied white tape.  The helmet is complete with the original leather jawpads and the original Schutt NOP facemask attached using original hardware.  The clips securing the facemask to the helmet are reproduction replacements as the originals were broken - as always.  This is a very nice helmet with light to moderate wear.  Our guess is that it was reconditioned and then never used.  It is interesting that the helmet has on the interior the The helmet has a story.   Very cool.
