Aaron Walker. Just a scrub back up Tight End. Released by St. Louis and picked up by Baltimore. Recently cut by Baltimore. When he was released by St. Louis, we got his helmet.
And what a nice helmet it is. This is Walkers 2006-7 helmet that he wore with the Rams. All components of this helmet are original,
worn by Walker, and consistent with Rams game helmets.
Riddell VSR4 model helmet, molded navy in color, in a size large. The helmet comes complete with a Schutt ROPO-DW mask as preferred by Walker. The mask is attached to the helmet with Schutt Clips on the top and elite stabilizer clips on the sides.
Phillips Schutt screws are used to secure the mask. The mask is dated 2007 as are the top clips. The chinstrap is aa Adams hard, cup in the high mount configuration. The straps have had the Adams names removed per NFL uniform guidelines, and have had Riddell
screened on the lower straps. Schutt white plastic/metal buckles hold the chinstrap to the helmet in both the low position. The top straps of the chinstrap are secured to the helmet with a Schutt buckle on the left side and an Adams buckle on the right side as seen
in photos of Walker.
The decals of the helmet remain intact with no lifting or seperation from the helmet. They are scuffed and show light use. The decals are trimmed by the Rams equipment staff, at the top front bumper, as well as the sides where the mask clips to the helmet. The Rams
equipmment staff do this in order to replace decals on the helmet without removing the facemask. It should be noted that there are no chinstrap snaps in the lower - front position. Most Rams helmets
have these snaps removed if the player uses a high snap chinstrap. This is also done by the Rams equipment staff so that they do not have to trim the horn decals around that snap.
Decals on the rear of the helmet include: Rams rear bumper decal, American Flag, NFL Shield, as well as the special custom warning label as used by the Rams and positioned on the center ridge of the helmet. The Rams also utilize a navy center stripe to cover the valves of the Riddell helmets. This helmet has that stripe, which is trimmed at
the warning label. Inside the helmet is the Riddell warranty and warning information along with Dymo tape "Walker" as used by the Rams equipment staff since the 1960's.
There is also an All American size sticker.
The inside of the helmet is in good condition with moderate wear and stained padding. The facemask has scuffs and scrapes, showing a years worth of use.
