1998-2001 Baylor Bears Game Used Helmet. Where have you seen one for sale? Need we say more? All components of this helmet are original, used by Baylor, and consistent with their game helmets.
Riddell VSR4 model helmet, painted pro gloss Baylor Gold, in a size Large. The helmet comes complete with a Schutt OPO Armor Guard facemask. The mask is attached to the helmet with Schutt and Riddell clips on the top and sides. The Schutt clips are dated 1997. Gold Schutt phillips screws are used to secure the mask. The helmet does not have a chinstrap.
The decals of the helmet remain intact with no lifting from the helmet. They are in almost new condition with only very light use. Decals on the rear of the helmet include: Authentic team "vintage" warning label, NCAA pennant in Baylor colors, Riddell decal, 2001 recertification decal, and All American size decal.
The inside of the helmet is in good condition with light wear. There is a 2001 recertification label, player identifier of 1-49, and "92" written in marker below the left year. The facemask is clean, new condition, with very little in the sign of scuffs and scrapes. This helmet displays very well.
