Game Used St. Louis Cardinals helmet from 1980.  The helmet is a Riddell Pac3 model attributed to Barney Cotton who later was the coach at Nebraska and other teams.  Helmet is all original and complete with the Pac3 cell padding, Schutt 70s style NJOP facemask, and single strap chinstrap.   The logos are original to the helmet as are Cotton's #60 on the rear of the helmet.  The helmet has a original datecode of 1979 stamped in the shell, with a Riddell stickering indicating the '79 date, along with that year marked inside the helmet with the 7 1/2 size.  Cotton's number has also been written inside the helmet.  The helmet has been signed by a number of key Cardinal players such as Larry Wilson, Dan Dierdorf, Irv Goode, and coach Jim Hannifan, along with others.  The helmet shows heavy wear on the exterior of the helmet with deep gouges, paint transfers, and damage to both logos.  An excellent, rare, signed helmet at a great price.
