Game Worn Carolina Panthers helmet from 1999.  Helmet is original and complete. The Riddell AF2 model helmet is a size XL and original and complete as purchased.  The helmet has a thin wire Schutt RJOP-DW model facemask from 1999, secured to the helmet with the original clips and hardware.  Double clips secure the mask on the sides of the helmet as used by the Panthers during this period.  The logos and Panther striping is original, properly positioned, and adhered to the helmet with no lifting.  The helmet has game decals on the rear including the team warning label, NFL shield decal, and the #60 Panther player identifier.  While a backup Center wore #60 in 1997, no rostered regular season player wore this number in 1998 or 1999.   The helmet has a well worn chinstrap included, adding to the fact that the helmet was used by a camp/preseason player that did not make the team - thus using the same chinstrap on his next helmet as many players do.
