Game Worn Montreal Riddell VSR4 model helmet.  The helmet is original as sourced and was used for the 1998 season.  The helmet exhibits light wear and is complete, including the chinstrap.  The striping and  logos are original, properly positioned, and adhered to the helmet with no lifting.  The helmet has the original Schutt OPO-SW single wire facemask, secured to the helmet with the original Schutt clips and hardware.   The helmet also has an Adams Pro 100 high mount chinstrap, with the navy hard cup as used by Davis.  The early Adams chinstrap has the straps sewn to the d-rings rather than riveted.  Davis’ #84 player identifier is found on the inside of the helmet at the bottom, near the left jaw pad.  Great rare helmet of the electrifying playmaker Davis, ready for display.
