Game Worn San Francisco 49ers Greg Clark 1997-8 helmet.  Helmet is original and complete.   The Riddell VSR4 model helmet is a size large and original and complete as purchased.  The helmet has a thin wire Schutt OPO-DW model facemask, as preferred by Clark for the open eye area for visibility.  The mask has been bent to further open the eye area by the 49ers equipment staff as seen on photos of Clark.  The mask secured to the helmet with the original clips and hardware.  The 49ers logos and striping is original, properly positioned, and adhered to the helmet with slight lifting on the rear of the left side logo, and matched to the top photos below.  The helmet has game decals on the rear including the team warning label, the All American size sticker, and the NFL shield decal on the left side.  There are deep gouges and heavy wear to both the interior and exterior of the helmet.  A distiquishing scratch/gouge on the right side front can be photo matched to many photos of Clark from the 1998 season.  Gouges and scratches on the upper right side are also easily matched as are bare metal corners and bars on the attached facemask.
