Original Ravens inaugural season Riddell WD1 model helmet.   The helmet is original, complete, and unaltered or modified in any way.   This helmet has the original Ravens logos on it as used in the 1996 through 1998 seasons, before a lawsuit forced them to stop using the logos.  Today, Ravens helmets with the original logos are very rare and seldom seen = as the majority were retained by the team in which they simply removed the logos and applied the new/current logos onto the helmets.  

The helmet is complete with the WD1 interior padding and the original Riddell leather jaw pads.   The helmet has its original NJOP-DW model facemask with the 1996 datecode.   The mask is attached to the helmet with the original clips and hardware, with double clips securing the mask at the side mounts.  The logo decals and striping is original to the helmet, properly positioned, and adhered well with slight lifting to the tips on te main logos.  Game decals include the yellow on clear warning label, RAVENS rear bumper decal, and the NFL shield.   There are no player identifiers on the rear of the helmet or marked inside.   There are remnants of at least one reconditioning sticker on the helmet interior.   Great original gamer of a style that is difficult at best to find and when they do, they are quickly purchased and seldom reappear for sale.   Grab this one while you can.
