Game used Colorado Buffaloes AiR Power model helmet.  The helmet has a original manufacturing date of 1996 and a reconditioning sticker on the interior for the 1999 season. The facemask on the helmet is from 2005, so it is unclear if the helmet was reconditioned in 1999 and then used again or if the mask was added to the helmet prior to its release.  The mask is secured to the helmet with clips having a 1995 datecode.  The helmet has some wear and gouges under the fresh paint.  Helmet is complete except for the chinstrap, and has a locker dymo-tape identifier below the earhole on the helmet interior.  A great looking helmet - in great shape, ready for display.
