Game Used Northwestern Wildcats Riddell AF2 model helmet.  The LARGE sized helmet has an original date code from 1986 with a reconditioning sticker for the 1993 season.  The helmet has been worn for several seasons.  Northwestern wore this style of logo decals, without the silver/gray boarder, in 1993 only, making this style, a one-year only helmet.

Helmet shows moderate wear to the exterior front and crown, with moderate wear to the interior of the helmet.  Helmet is complete and all original and unmodified in any way.  The helmet has its original AF2 model padding, Riddell Pac style vinyl “handed” jaw pads, Schutt OPO-DW 1st generation model facemask from 1993, secured to the helmet with the original clips and hardware.  There is no chinstrap with the helmet.   There is a #20 player identifier on the rear of the helmet. William Bennett, a sophomore defensive back wore #20 in 1993, and switched to the newly popular VSR4 model helmet following the '93 season.
