Game Used Atlanta Falcons helmet attributed to star defensive back Scott Case.  The medium sized AiR Power has an original manufacturing date of 1989 with a reconditioning sticker for the 1993 season so it was used for several seasons.  The helmet comes with a 1st generation OPO-DW facemask as worn by Case during part of the 1993 season as well as 1994 - his final season in Atlanta.   It is secured to the helmet with the original 1993 clips and hardware. 

during his playing days with the Falcons.  Helmet is complete, including the chinstrap.  The Falcon logos are original to the helmet, properly positioned, and adhered well with no lifting.   The helmet shows moderate wear along with wear to the internal padding and gouging and scrapes to the facemask.  The helmet has the FALCONS decal covering the AiR brand name on the front bumper.  On the rear of the helmet is the NFL shield and Case's #25 player identifier numbers.   Finally, there is dymo tape under the jaw pad with "25 DW2" on it.   I believe the DW2 is a style of mask required on the helmet after the reconditioning process, however the specific mask model that it refers to is a mystery.   An excellent, rare, model helmet at a great price.
