Game Worn Ball State helmet from the 1992 season. The very rare model - a Rawlings AIMS helmet, was manufactured in 1987. The AIMS helmet was very similar to the ANFL models that were produced for on-field play but also sold to the public as their “authentic” NFL helmet. This helmet has the front and rear padding but is missing the crown and side padding. The helmet has the original jawpads were are very rare - having a different snap pattern than the common Riddell or BIKE jawpads. The helmet has an original 1992 Schutt ROPO-DW facemask, secured to the helmet with the original clips and hardware. The helmet has an original Riddell Pac3/WD1 low mount chinstrap.
The helmet is all original and has not been altered or modified. The helmet is a size large. There are no player identifiers found in the helmet. The helmet logo decals are original, positioned properly and adhered to the helmet very well. A very rare helmet, tough to find anywhere, in a rare very desirable model, with a rare original mask and hardware, ready to display and become the centerpiece for your collection.
