New York Jets game used helmet from the 1991 season, attributed to All-Pro wide receiver Al Toon. The VSR3 model helmet is a size medium. It is all original and complete with a date code near the jaw pad from 1988, indicating use from prior seasons. The helmet has its original logos on the sides, oversize warning label, NFL shield, and Toon's #88 player identifier on the rear of the helmet. The helmet has light to moderate receiver wear to the outside and is equally nice on the inside. The helmet has original Riddell vinyl Pac style jaw pads. The facemask is a Schutt OPO-SW model with a date code of 1991. The helmet has been custom bent to allow for additional vision as used by Toon over the years. The mask is secured to the helmet with the original Riddell clips and original hardware. The front bumper of the helmet is the same as shown in the photo below of Toon. Tough helmet of a highly sought after team, of an All-Pro receiver. It does not get any better!
