Detroit Lions game used helmet from the 1990 season.  The helmet has the #6 player identifier and mask of Jim Arnold the Lions long-time superstar punter.  The Riddell VSR3 model helmet is all original and complete, with the exception of the chinstrap - most likely kept by Arnold for future use.  The helmet was originally sourced from the collection of long-time Raiders Equipment Manager Dick Romanski.   

The helmet has its original striping and logos on the sides, properly positioned and adhered well with no lifting.  Other decals include the team white on clear oversized warning label and Arnold's #6 player identifier flanking the side stripe on the rear.  The helmet has light wear as expected on a punter's helmet.  The helmet has its original facemask - a Schutt OPO model, in the correct Royal color, with a date code of 1990, secured with the original clips and hardware. 

Great original helmet, complete, with great provenance, that does not get much better!
