Game Worn New Orleans helmet worn by #78.  The helmet has an original manufacturing date of 1990 and has been reconditioned in 1995.   The helmet has a 78 player identifier written on the inside of the helmet.  We say "worn by #78" because we have no clue who #78 may have been at the period that this helmet was used by the team, and most likely a player that was cut and did not make the final roster.  The helmet was then reissued to a skill position player that had a very large head with a skill position mask installed to it.

The helmet is original, unaltered in any way, and complete with the exception of the chinstrap.  The helmet has its original Schutt ROPO model facemask from 1993, secured to the helmet with the original clips and hardware.  Conventional clips secure the top and side mounts mounts as worn by the Saints during this period.  

The helmet exhibits light wear on the exterior and the interior, consistent with several seasons of play from rookies that did not get a lot of playing time as well as the most recent reconditioning from 1995.  

The logos and striping is original, properly positioned, and adhered well to the helmet with no lifting.  The helmet has game decals on the rear including the team warning label, NFL shield decal, and Saints rear bumper decal.   Great game used helmet, in a huge size, of a team in which their game used helmets are rare and do not come around often.
