Game Worn Used San Diego Chargers Riddell VSR3 model helmet.  The helmet has an original date code inside of the helmet of 1990.  The helmet is original, unmodified, and was worn for several seasons. 

The size large helmet shows moderate wear on the exterior and interior.   The helmet is complete as it was after the last game, and comes with the VSR3 padding, Adams Pro 100 hard cup chinstrap - with the straps adjusted to mount in the low position, and Riddell NJOP model facemask.  The mask, is secured to the helmet with the original Riddell late 80s conventional clips at the top, and double clips at the side mounts of the helmet.  Interesting to note that on each side of the helmet, one of the clips is a Schutt brand and one is a Riddell.   Not sure why this configuration was done on this helmet.  One of the Schutt clips is dated 1994 - which is the oldest date on the helmet, however the helmet could very well have been used after the 1994 season.  There are the remains of at least one reconditioning sticker on the helmet interior.    Slotted brass screws secure the mask to the helmet - as the Chargers did the majority of time during this period.  

The Chargers logos are original, properly positioned, and adhered to the helmet with no lifting.   Game decals include #63 player identifiers on the rear, and the team white on clear warning label and NFL shield also on the rear of the helmet.  The rear bumper has the Chargers team decal as the Chargers did during this period.  Great game helmet ready for display.
