Game Used, worn 1987-89 New Orleans Saints Schutt AiR Power model helmet.   The massive 7 7/8 sized helmet was manufactured in 1987 and then last reconditioned for the 1989 season.  It does not appear that the helmet was used for that last season - as the paint is very nice on the helmet, however if held at an angle, one can see the gouges that existed on this helmet prior to its last sanding and painting at the reconditioner.  The helmet has no numbers or player identifiers on the rear, nor in the interior.  The facemask is a Schutt OPO model with a datecode of 1986.    Great helmet in a rare model, in a very rare massive size - in great display condition.
