Game Worn Illinois Fighting Illini BIKE AiR Power model helmet.  The helmet was manufactured in 1986 and was used through at least the  1989 season - the first season for the Illini using the new "Illinois" logos.  It is original and complete including the ultra-rare BIKE chinstrap.  The helmet has the AiR Power padding along with the double blue air bladder, original jawpads, and BIKE front bumper pad.   The helmet has its original Schutt NJOP facemask.  The mask is secured to the helmet using the original Schutt clips and hardware.  There are no player identifiers found in the helmet. 

The helmet logo decals and striping are proper and original to the helmet.  They are positioned properly and adhered to the helmet well, with no lifting as shown in the photos.   A very rare BIKE helmet, tough to find anywhere, from the first year with the Illinois logos, in a desirable model, with a rare original mask and hardware, ready to display and become the centerpiece for your collection.
