Game Worn Colorado Buffaloes Riddell WD1 model helmet in a Large size - 7 1/4.  The helmet was originally manufactured in 1985 and worn through at least the 1986 season.  The WD1 was Riddell’s most popular fitted helmet for over a decade, very popular in both college football as well as the NFL in the 80s and 1990s.

The helmet is original as sourced to us and is complete except for the chinstrap.  The helmet has the WD1 Pac padding, the original front bumper pad and pocket, and the original Riddell leather jaw pads.  The logos are  original, positioned properly, and adhered to the helmet very well with no lifting.   The helmet shows moderate to heavy wear to the exterior and the interior of the helmet, with gouges under the paint from previous seasons.   The original Schutt 1986 NOPO mask is secured to the helmet with its original clips and hardware.  Several seasons of reconditioning stickers have been removed from the helmet interior.  

A nice game used helmet, original, complete, and ready to display, at a great price.
