Game Worn Yale Bulldogs Riddell WD1 model helmet.  The helmet was originally manufactured in 1988, used for multiple seasons, and retired/released in 1991.  The WD1 helmet was very popular in both college football as well as the NFL in the early 80s and continued as one of Riddell’s top of the line helmets for more than a decade.  

The helmet is in game used condition with scuffs and deep gouges.  The helmet is original and complete except for the chinstrap.  The exterior and interior show great gridiron game wear with the WD1 padding remaining in complete and good condition.  The facemask is a RJOP-UB  model, original, in great shape and is secured to the helmet using the replacement Riddell clips but retains the original hardware. 

The helmet is original as sourced to us.  The logos are original, positioned properly, and adhered to the helmet very well with no lifting.   The helmet is signed on the left hand side.
