Game Worn Oregon Ducks Riddell AF2 model helmet. The helmet is attributed to running back Derek Loville and was used in the 1988 season. Loville wore the Riddell AF2 helmet prior to switching to a BIKE/Schutt helmet for the 1989 season - his last at Oregon before being drafted into the NFL. The AF2 is original and complete including the original padding remaining in great condition, along with the original front nose bumper pocket and pad. The helmet has its original Schutt 1987 ROPO facemask as preferred by Loville at Oregon. The mask is secured to the helmet using the original Schutt clips and hardware. The helmet is a size large. There is the name LOVILLE written on the crown of the helmet interior.
The helmet logo decals are proper and original to the helmet. They are positioned properly and adhered to the helmet well, with no lifting as shown in the photos. The helmet has the original "Oregon" nose bumper decal. A very rare helmet, in a rare model, with a rare original mask, complete as it left the field, of an Oregon star and NFK player, ready to display and become the centerpiece for your collection.
