Game used Seattle Seahawks Riddell VSR3 model helmet from the 1988 through 1990 seasons.  The helmet is original and unaltered as sourced, and is complete with the exception of the chinstrap.

The helmet is in game used condition with moderate wear to the exterior and interior of the helmet.  There are some scuffs and deep gouges that have been painted over on the exterior of the helmet.   The logo decals are period with dried adhesive at the boarders alonog with some damage. The helmet has its original warning decal positioned in the rear-middle of the helmet.   The inside of the helmet has a reconditioning sticker for the 1990 season along with adhesive residue from a past season reconditioning sticker. The inside of the helmet is GB gold colored -a bit out of the ordinary but certainly not out of the question for a Riddell exterior painted helmet from this period.

The facemask is a rare Schutt model - JOP-DW with a 1988 date code. It is the proper color or royal blue for the period - not the darker “Seattle Blue” that the team wore later with the silver helmet. The mask is secured to the helmet with the original clips and hardware dated 1988.   The helmet retains its original Riddell Pac style vinyl jawpads - original to the helmet.  The helmet is complete and in great game used condition.  You just don't find Seahawks helmets from this era in the market any longer.   Tough helmet to find.  Don't wait on this one.
