Original Riddell VSR1 helmet from 1987.  The helmet was used in the late 1980's and early 1990's.  It has a reconditioner sticker on the interior for the 1993 season.  The Schutt NOPO style facemask has a datecode of 1993 as well.  Appears this helmet was reconditioned and repainted for the 1993 season and saw little action after.  The helmet is a size medium with exterior wear - with some scratches and small paint transfers at the helmet crown.  The helmet has been painted over some deeper gouges.  The interior is in good condition with some hair residue on the padding.  The helmet is complete and original, in very nice display condition.  No modifications have been done to the helmet in any way.   All decals and striping is in excellent condition.  Great original helmet for display.
