Game Worn Central Michigan Riddell WD1 model helmet.  The helmet was originally manufactured in 1987 and used for multiple seasons with its release following the 1993 season.  The WD1 helmet was very popular in both college football as well as the NFL and was Riddell’s top of the line "fitted" helmet for more than a decade.  This helmet is a size 7 1/4.  

The helmet is in excellent condition.  The helmet is original and complete including the chinstrap.  The exterior paint and interior WD1 padding remains in very nice condition.  The facemask is a NOPO thin wire model from 1989, original, in great shape and is secured to the helmet using the original clips and hardware. 

The helmet is original as sourced to us.  The logos have been removed and the helmet is signed by some of the team's players including Frank Zombo who went on to win a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers, playing several years in the NFL.  There are no player identifiers in the helmet but does have a reconditioning sticker on the interior.
