Game used San Diego Chargers helmet from the 1987 season.  The helmet is a Riddell WD1 model helmet in excellent display condition. 

The Chargers used this model of helmet during the early to late 1980s. The helmet is complete and all original has not been altered in any way.  The helmet is original and complete with the exception of the chinstrap. It has the WD1 pac style padding cells, Pac style Riddell vinyl jawpads, and the original front bumper.  The helmet has a Schutt 80's style NOP facemask - secured to the helmet using its orginal Riddell clips and retains its original hardware and brass slotted screws. 

The logos are original to the helmet and are adhered to the helmet well with no lifting.  It is more than obvious that logos has been replaced on the helmet during its service with previous logo dried adhesive residue all over the helmet's crown.  The helmet is all original and remains in excellent condition with only light wear to the exterior and interior. The helmet has a 1987 original manufaacturing datecode stamped in the interior crown of the helmet.#nbsp The player identifier decals on the rear of the helmet have been removed prior to the helmets release.  A bit of a rare model and certainly a very nice helmet for any Chargers fan or helmet collectors collection.
