Detroit Lions game used helmet attributed to WR Jeff Chadwick.  The helmet has an original date of 1987 with a reconditioning sticker for the 1989 season, Chadwick's last season in Detroit.  The sized 7 Riddell AF2 model helmet is all original and complete, with the exception of the chinstrap - most likely kept by Chadwick or the team.   

The helmet has its original striping and logos on the sides, properly positioned and adhered well with slight lifting to the older style Lions logos that exhibit no clear boarder.  Other decals include the team white on clear oversized warning label, Chadwick's #89 player identifiers flanking the side stripes on the rear, and the LIONS rear bumper decal.  There are #89 player identifiers written near the earhole on each side of the helmet interior - consistent with Lions game helmets from this era.  The helmet has moderate to heavy wear with the deep gouges on the front of the helmet along with the moderate wear and field dirt on the helmet’s  inside.   The facemask is a Schutt OPO model, in the correct color, with a date code of 1987, secured with the original 1987 clips and hardware. Great helmet, with great wear, that does not get any better!
