Game Used Rhode Island Rams Riddell  WD1 helmet.  The 7 1/4 sized helmet has a date code of 1985 in the helmet, so it had been used for many seasons - way back when the Rams wore white helmets with horns on them.  Ahh, the budget of smaller schools!  Helmet shows moderate to heavy wear to the exterior and interior of the helmet.  Helmet is complete and all original and unmodified in any way.  The helmet has its original Riddell WD1 model padding, Riddell vinyl Pac style jaw pads, Riddell transition style NJOP model facemask.  The facemask is from the 1980s and was recoated by Maskcoaters - located in Michigan.  Again, a small school football budget!  

The facemask is secured to the helmet with the original clips and hardware.  The helmet does not have a chinstrap.  There is a #12 player identifier on the rear of the helmet, and inside the helmet, as well as several #12s marked inside the helmet.  The logo decals are original, properly positioned, and adhered to the helmet with no lifting.   Great original helmet to add to your gamer collection.  At the asking price, with the free shipping, don't wait on this helmet of a tough team to find.  Yes, a small school budget and they did not let helmets go very often!
