Game Worn Green Bay Packers Riddell WD1 model helmet.  The helmet was manufactured in 1985 as indicated the datecode in the crown of the helmet, as well as the "85" written inside the helmet by the Packers equipment staff.   

The helmet is all original complete as sourced.  It has all of the internal WD1 padding, including the jaw pads.  The mask is a Schutt RJOP-DW thin wire model from 1991. The mask is secured with the original Schutt clips on all four mount positions, with athletic tape wrapped around each mask mounting point to secure the mask more tightly inside the clips.  The rear of the helmet has the original factory warning label, as used by the Packers throught the 1980s, as well as the original factory size sticker.  The logos and striping is all original with all adhered to the helmet very well with no lifting but with some minor game damage to the stripes and one logo.  The shell exhibits light to moderate wear with several deep gouges.  There is an "85" identifier inside the helmet.  The Packers equipment staff marked the "5" as the initial year of the helmet - 1985.  We own many Packers gamers with similar markings from the Packers equipment staff marked on the interior.   

Excellent game used helmet of a tough team to find.  If you know or collect Packers helmets, you know they are very rare and rarely are made available in the collectible/memorabilia market.   Great helmet for display.
