Game Used Missouri Tigers Riddell M155 Micro Fit helmet.  The medium sized helmet has a date code of 1985 in the crown of the helmet, with a reconditioning sticker inside the helmet for the 1987 season.  The helmet has a 1988 dated facemask signifying the use of the helmet for at least four seasons.  The Tigers used the plain white M logos from 1985 through the 1989 season.    

Helmet shows moderate wear wear to the exterior and interior of the helmet.  Helmet is complete and all original and unmodified in any way.  The helmet has its original Riddell Micro Fit model liquid filled padding and Schutt ROPO-DW model facemask from 1988, secured to the helmet with the original clips and hardware.  Interesting to note that the helmet has vinyl BIKE brand "handed" jaw pads.  A bit rare but certainly not uncommon given the same snap pattern as Riddell jaw pads from the same period.   There is no chinstrap with the helmet.   There is a player identifier marked on the inside of the helmet, on tape, and covered with clear laminate or tape.  The name "Marlon" is written on the sticker, found in the rear crown next to the factory size sticker. 

The striping and logo decals are original, properly positioned, and adhered to the helmet with no lifting.  The gold center stripe as "faded" to a green hue, as all older Missouri helmet center stripes have done over time.  There is a reconditioning warning label on the rear of the helmet, along with a Marietta/MaxPro size label applied to the rear of the helmet.  This is the first time we have seen that style of Marietta/MaxPro size sticker on a different brand of helmet.  The helmet retains its TIGERS bumper decal on the front.   Great original, very rare model of helmet to add to your gamer collection.  At the asking price, with the free shipping, don't wait on this one.
