Game Worn Yale Bulldogs Riddell WD1 model helmet in a rare 7 5/8 XL size.  The helmet was originally manufactured in 1984 and used for multiple seasons.  The WD1 helmet was very popular in both college football as well as the NFL in the early 80s and continued as one of Riddell’s top of the line helmets for more than a decade.  

The helmet is a size XL 7 5/8 in game used condition with scuffs and deep gouges.  The helmet is original and complete except for the chinstrap.  The exterior and interior show great gridiron game wear with the WD1 padding remaining in complete and good condition.  The facemask is a NOPO model, original, in great shape and is secured to the helmet using the original clips and hardware. 

The helmet is original as sourced to us.  The logos are original, positioned properly, and adhered to the helmet very well with no lifting.   There are player names written on the helmet interior and also has a #9 on the rear right side of the helmet as shown in the above photo.
