Late 80s early 90s Game worn helmet of the Buffalo Bills. Riddell WD1 model helmet in a size 7 3/8. Helmet is original and complete except for the chinstrap. The helmet has a mold manufacturing date of 1983 making it the earliest possible red helmet as the Bills changed from white to red in 1984. The helmet has a reconditioning sticker on the interior of 1991 along with what appears to be residue of other recon stickers that had been removed. The helmet has the original Schutt thin wire NJOP model facemask with a date of 1991. The mask is in very good condition with no visible damage. It is secured to the helmet using the original clips and hardware at the top mount while shockblocker clips secure the mask to the sides of the helmet using the original hardware. The original Riddell foam jawpads are present as used by Riddell in the early 1990s. The helmet has the blue center stripe along with the white with clear gap side stripes as worn by the Bills during this era. The side stripes were trimmed to allow room of the player numbers at the bottom of the rear of the helmet. The number on the helmet is 64. No rostered player wore 64 during the 1991 season. The helmet has light possible post-reconditioning or camp wear. You can't go wrong at the price. Nice game used helmet ready to display, at a great price.
