Game Used Florida State Seminoles Riddell WD1 model helmet.  The 7 1/2 sized helmet has an early date code on the inside of the helmet of 1983, with a mask used in the late 80s to early 90s, so it had been worn for several seasons. 

Helmet shows heavy wear with paint damage to the exterior front, sides, and crown, with moderate wear to the interior of the helmet.  Helmet is complete and all original and unmodified in any way.  The helmet has its original WD1 model padding with its orignial nose bumper pad and Riddell Pac style vinyl jaw pads.  The original  Schutt RJOP-UB-DW model facemask was reconditioned by Maskcoaters and is secured to the helmet with the original clips (all dated 1992) and hardware, prior to FSU using red Shockblocker clips at the mask side mounts.    There is a “SANFORD” player identifier written on the inside of the helmet .   The helmet retains its NOLES paper-like decal over the front nose bumper.  The logo paper-like spear decals are original, properly positioned, and adhered to the helmet with no lifting, but with damage consistent with the helmet exterior.  Five tomahawk award decals adorn the front of the helmet.   Great original helmet of a rare, highly sought after team, in a rare model, to add to your gamer collection.  At the asking price, with the free shipping, don't wait on this one.
