Game Used San Francisco 49ers helmet from the late 70's to early 80's.  We estimate the helmet at roughly the 1983 season based on the players who signed the helmet.  Helmet has a very early Joe Montana autograph on it - when he signed his name normally and not a couple squiggles as he has for the last 30 years.  The helmet comes with the MaxPro vinyl padding but is missing the side padding for each side of the helmet.  Helmet has a Schutt NOP style mask from the 70s which has become dislodged from the helmet - as the original clips have become brittle and broke as they all do from this era.     The logos and striping are original to the helmet and adhered well with light lifting to the center stripe at the bottom rear of the helmet.  The helmet shows light to moderate wear.  An excellent, rare, model helmet, signed by 49ers legends, at a great price.
