Game Used USC Trojans Riddell WD1 model helmet.  The helmet has an original manufacturing date of 1982 and was used by the team for a number of seasons - given the 1989 Rose Bowl chinstrap attached.  The helmet is complete and all original as sourced.  The large shell is painted USC cardinal red.  Original WD1 model padding and leather jawpads are on the inside along with the Riddell warning stickers.  The Schutt NJOP model mask is secured to the helmet using the original clips and hardware.  Interesting to note that the mask was originally gray - as used during the early life of the helmet and then painted cardinal as the team wore in the later years of the helmet’s on-field life.  There is a #34 player identifier written inside the helmet as shown in the first photo.
