Game Worn Jets Riddell TK Suspension helmet.  This very rare TK model helmet was molded in 1977, with the Jets changing to their green helmets from the previous white helmets for the 1978 season.  The helmet is complete with the Riddell suspension, original Riddell leather jawpads and the original BD9 model facemask, painted white from the team.  Interesting to note that the datecode on the helmet is from 1968 - the Super Season.  Yes, the Jets, or someone from the helmet period, pulled an original gray 1968 two bar, sprayed it white and installed it to the helmet.  The mask is secured to the helmet with the original hardware.  The helmet has a late 70s, early 80s Riddell two-point chinstrap that was on the helmet when we purchased it.  There are no player identifiers found in the helmet. 

The helmet remains in excellent conditon.  The logo decals are proper thickness, positioned properly and adhered to the exterior of the helmet well, with no lifting.  A very rare helmet, in a rare very desirable model, with a rare original mask and hardware, ready to display and become the centerpiece for your collection.
