CFL vintage helmets.  Try and find them.  Very rare.   This one is no exception.  Perfect in every way.  This is a game used helmet attributed to Rough Riders star player Ralph Galloway. 

The Riddell Pac 3 model helmet was used by Galloway for the 1978 season.  Galloway played for the 'Riders for eleven (11) seasons, from 1969 through the 1979 season.  He was a CFL All-Star in 1976 and 1977, and a CFL West All-Star for five (5) consecutive seasons from 1973 through the 1977 season. 

The helmet shows incredible heavy wear to the exterior with deep gouges as well as damage to the striping and logos.  Gallowy's #59 is found on the rear of the helmet.  The helmet is complete with the exception of the chinstrap, with the Pac 3 padding, original leather jawpads, a Dungard lineman style mask.  The mask is secured to the helmet with large slotted screws at the top and Dungard clips with brass slotted screws at the sides.  The mask is not original to the helmet but is the model that Galloway and his fellow 'Rider linemen used during this period.
