Game Used, Harvard Crimson Riddell Micro Fit model helmet.  The helmet has a date code of 1978 in the helmet, in which the Crimson wore gray masks with a different logo.  The helmet was last used in 1982 - the first year that the Crimson wore the white mask with this style of logoed helmet.  The helmet has a "Certificate of Authenticity" taped to the rear of the helmet from the original owner and player that wore this helmet.  See the photo above and a close up photo below.  The helmet was donated by the owner to a museum in which we purchased it upon the museum's closing.  

Helmet shows moderate wear to the exterior and interior of the helmet.  Helmet is complete and all original and unmodified in any way.  The helmet has its original Riddell Micro Fit fluid pack padding, Riddell vinyl jaw pads, Schutt 1980s style JOP model facemask, secured to the helmet with the original clips and hardware, however the clips have broke due to age.  We have not replaced them but can be easily replaced with reproduction clips.  The helmet has its original Riddell chinstrap.   The logo of the helmet is original, properly positioned, and adhered to the helmet with light lifting creases  - quite common with larger oversized decals.  There are no player identifiers in or on the rear of the helmet.    Great original helmet to add to your helmet collection.  At the asking price, with the free shipping, don't wait on this one.
