Game Used Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Riddell Micro Fit helmet.  The medium sized helmet has a date code of 1977 in the crown of the helmet, with a reconditioning sticker inside the helmet for the 1990 season.  The helmet had been used for many seasons, typical of smaller schools during this period - before the ten (10) year rule.  The Bulldogs used red helmets from the late 1960s.  This helmet had a gray mask originally along with stripes from 1983-1988 and finished up the way it is today following the 1990 season.  

Helmet shows moderate wear to heavy wear to the exterior and interior of the helmet.  Helmet is complete and all original and unmodified in any way.  The helmet has its original Riddell Micro Fit model liquid filled padding, Riddell Pac style vinyl jaw pads, Schutt OPO model facemask from 1985, secured to the helmet with the original clips and hardware.  There is no chinstrap with the helmet.   There is a #22 player identifier marked on the inside of the helmet, and a piece of black tape near the opposite earhole.   The logo decal are original, properly positioned, and adhered to the helmet with some lifting - quite common with oversized one piece decals.  There is a reconditioning warning label on the rear of the helmet while the DAWGS bumper decal remains on the front.   Great original, very rare school and model helmet to add to your gamer collection.  At the asking price, with the free shipping, don't wait on this one.
