Game Used, worn 1989 San Francisco 49ers Riddell Pac3 model helmet.   The large sized helmet has an original date in the helmet of 1977 and was used through the 1989 season.  It comes complete with the original 80s style Schutt OPO along with the original Riddell leather jaw pads. 

The mask is secured to the helmet using reproduction clips due to the original clips breaking after becoming brittle.  The original hardware remains with the helmet.  The helmet was manufactured in 1977 but was reconditioned many times with the last reconditioning sticker on the inside of the helmet from 1989.  The helmet has many gouges and scratches that have been painted over from the years of reconditioning.  It is clear the helmet has seen much use on the field. 

The striping and logos also have some wear but are adhered well to the helmet.  The helmet has the original 49ers nose bumper decal on the front of the helmet.  The interior padding is in great condition.  The helmet does not have any player identifiers on the inside of the helmet.  Great helmet from a team that's helmets are rare in the market and highly sought after - in nice display condition.
