Game worn Washington Huskies Riddell TAK29 vintage suspension helmet.  The helmet is original and complete except for the chinstrap. It shows heavy wear and multiple season use, with several coats of paint over previous wear, over loose paint, chips, warning labels, chinstrap shap buttons, and normally the front bumper, facemask clips and part of the facemask themselves.  Yes, when Washington repainted their helmets, they did so with basically no prep work of any kind, no removeal of the mask or other components, and right over decals and stickers.

The Riddell TAK29 model helmet was a cross/hybrid between the Riddell TK full suspension helmet and their M155 Micro-Fit fluid/air filled Pac padded helmet - using the suspension crown from the TK and the rear padding from their Micro Fit model. The helmets themselves are tough to find with even High School examples highly sought after by collectors.   The helmet is complete with a Schutt NOP style facemask, interior suspension/padding, and Riddell Pac style vinyl jaw pads.   The mask is secured to the helmet using reproduction clips, as the original clips turned brittle and broke, yet it retains it's original slotted screws and hardware.  The helmet exhibits heavy wear to both the exterior and interior of the helmet.  The decals and striping is original and adhered to the helmet well with no lifting.   There are no player identifiers inside the helmet.   Tough helmet to find.  Shipping is free in the cont US.
