Game Used, worn 1976 Houston Oilers Riddell M155 Micro Fit model helmet attributed to linebacker Ted Thompson. Mr. Thompson was the popular General Manager of the Green Bay Packers after his NFL playing days were over. The helmet is in excellent display condition exhibiting plenty of wear on the exterior front, striping, and side logos. The helmet is complete with all interior padding, shinstrap, leather jaw pads, and Schutt NOP style mask as used by Thompson. The mask is secured to the helmet using reproduction clips along with the original hardware. the helmet has a #51 player identifier marked in the interior of the helmet. The helmet is also signed by Oiler and NFL great Earl Campbell - in a period autograph along wit a personalization. A great helmet from a very desirable team, from an NFL Super Bowl winning General Manager, who chose Aaron Rodgers when he had a HOF starting QB with his very first pick as a General Manager. Wow.
