Mid 70s Ohio State Buckeyes game used Gladiator Hydra Flo GUU model helmet.  Ohio State was one of the major schools that preferred to use Gladiator helmets in the mid to late 1970s.  This helmet is complete with the interior fluid liner, original paint, original striping, original Gladiator chinstrap and front bumper.  A Schutt OPO red dot facemask is loose with the original clips brittle and crumbled over time.  If the buyer chooses, we will remount the mask to the helmet using period reproduction clips.  The helmet has moderate to heavy wear on the exterior.  No player identifiers.  There is dymo tape adhesive on the rear - showing an image of a size identifier placed on the helmet by the Buckeye equipment staff.  There is some black gunk on the bottom of the rear neck sizer as shown in the last photo above.  We have not attempted to clean it.  

A great helmet - of a very desirable model used by the Buckeyes - at a great price.
