Game Used Arizona State Riddell Pac3 helmet.  The helmet is all original and complete except for the chinstrap.  The helmet has a manufacturers date code from 1975, and was used for several seasons with the last season estimated to be 1988 or 1989 given the 1989 reconditioning sticker on the inside of the helmet.  The helmet is all original and complete as sourced - with the original Pac3 interior padding, original Riddell leather jaw pads in a medium sized thickness, and Schutt OPO model facemask, in a white color from 1989 - with white masks worn by the Sun Devils from the 1980 season.   

The helmet shows moderate exterior and interior game wear.   The helmet has a Riddell Kra-Lite II heat stamp on the rear of the helmet as the early model Pac 3 helmets had.  The helmet has the original Riddell thin mil maroon vinyl center stripe, along with the multi-colored Sun Devils logos.  The striping and logos are original, properly positioned, and adhered well to the helmet with some lifting to the right side logo at the elbow of Sparky.  The inside of the helmet has the 1975 original datecode, warning labels and a 1989 reconditioning sticker from our source - Sunvalco reconditioning.  The helmet was sent out to the reconditioner following its last season, rejected due to age, and placed on a shelf, where it would sit for decades prior to our purchase. A very rare helmet of a highly desireable model, that obviously saw some years of action on the gridiron.
