Cleveland Browns suspension helmet. The helmet is from 1974 and shows little to no wear - perfect to display. The helmet retains its original Riddell BD9 model two bar facemask in the gray color. 1974 was the last year that the Browns wore gray masks, however the BD9 was worn in the traditional gray for seasons post 1974 by several players including Reggie Rucker. The mask has a date code of 1974.
The helmet is painted burnt orange over the traditional white helmet leaving the center stripe the original color of the helmet. The helmet retains its original suspension, leather jawpads, and Riddell rubber crown pad. A great original helmet of a desireable team with a rare mask. No player identifiers on the rear of the helmet or marked on it's inside.
