A Los Angeles Rams original Riddell TK suspension helmet from 1973.  Great helmet in outstanding condition.  The helmet is original and comes complete with the original leather jawpads, original 4-pt chinstrap, and the original Schutt green dot OPO - also in excellent condition.  The facemask is secured to the helmet using reproduction clips, however the original hardware is present.   The Rams logos are original to the helmet and in nice condition and adhered to the helmet very well.   It is interesting that these logos were applied at the Riddell factory - with the suspension rivets installed after the decals were applied to the shell.  Unlike the majority of Rams game helmets, the logos were not "custom" cut to fit around facemask mounting points and chinstrap snaps - as done by the Rams equipment staff from the mid 70's until even today.  (See our 1973-74 Wilson Rams) This was one of the first helmets used by the Rams after they transitioned from the white painted horns to the gold vinyl horns in 1973.
