A Los Angeles Rams original Riddell TK suspension helmet from 1973.  Great helmet in outstanding condition.  The helmet is original and comes complete with the original leather jawpads, original rare Riddell 4-pt chinstrap, and the original Schutt green dot OPO - also in excellent condition, with some wear and coating loss.  The helmet is a rare XL size of 7 5/8.  The facemask is secured to the helmet using reproduction clips, as the original clips had become brittle and broke, however the helmet retains its original hardware.

The Rams logo decals are original to the helmet and in nice condition and adhered to the helmet very well with no lifting.   It is interesting that these logos were applied at the Riddell factory - with the suspension rivets installed through the logos after the decals were applied to the shell.  Unlike the majority of Rams game helmets with team applied decals, the logos were not "custom" cut to fit around facemask mounting points and chinstrap snaps - as done by the Rams equipment staff from the mid 70's until even today.  This was one of the first helmets used by the Rams after they transitioned from the white painted horns to the gold vinyl horns in 1973.  A super rare helmet - one that we sold in 2019 and gladly repurchased when given the opportunity.  You have another chance to purchase this rare helmet - don't miss out this time!
