Game used New Orleans Riddell Micro Fit helmet.  The helmet is from 1971 and shows light to moderate wear on the exterior and light to moderate use on the interior of the helmet.  This is the second time that we have owned this helmet.  We originally bought this helmet along with a collection of 30 other helmets from the family of a person that worked for Marietta in the early to mid 1970s.   We sold this helmet approximately eight (8) years ago and recently repurchased it. 

The helmet is complete and original as sourced.  The helmet comes with the Micro Fit cell padding, original leather jawpads, and very rare optional factory concussion padding.  The helmet has the original Schutt red dot JOP facemask, secured to the helmet with reproduction clips while retaining its original hardware.  The logos and striping is original and adhered to the helmet with no lifting.  Originally, the helmet did not have a chinstrap, but the Riddell soft cup 4 point was added by the previous owner.  A great original helmet with outstanding provenance.   No player identifiers on the rear of the helmet or marked on it's inside.
