Game Worn Missouri Tigers Gladiator Suspension helmet.  The helmet was manufactured in the late 1960s and was used for several seasons through the early 1970s.  It is original and complete except for the chinstrap and the neck suspension strap.  The helmet has the Gladiator main suspension, the crown pad, and the well worn Gladiator leather jaw pads, and front nose snubber.    The helmet has its original Schutt NOP model facemask.  The clips which secured the mask to the helmet have broken while retaining its original screws and hardware to secure the mask.  The helmet is a very rare XL size.   There are no player identifiers found in the helmet. 

The helmet logo decals and striping are proper and original to the helmet.  They are positioned properly and adhered to the helmet well, with no lifting.  The side stripes are cut above the front facemask clips as done by the Missouri equipment staff at this time and shown in game photos.  A very rare helmet, tough to find anywhere, in a rare very desirable model, with a rare original mask and hardware, ready to display and become the centerpiece for your collection.
